Medicare is a federal health insurance program for people 65 years of age or older. It pays for much of your health care, but not all of it, such costs could be prescription drugs, deductibles, coinsurance. Prescription Drugs are now provided through Medicare Part D. Please note that open enrollment for seniors is predetermined by your age of 65 several other factors. Ultimately, you must have Medicare Part A & B before qualifying for a medicare supplement.
